MawisUtility - App Redesign in Full Swing

We want our MawisUtility service to reflect new trends and meet the current expectations of online service users, which is why we are currently working on a complete overhaul of the existing application for submitting requests.

We want our MawisUtility service to reflect new trends and meet the current expectations of online service users, which is why we are currently working on a complete overhaul of the existing application for submitting requests.

In previous years, we focused on developing interfaces (connections) with administrators and access to the service through regional offices. Due to the time-consuming nature of preparing this work, a comprehensive overhaul of the application—which is a demanding process in itself—has not yet taken place; therefore, we have decided to focus primarily on this task this year.

“The planned changes involve not only updating the app’s design but also adding new features that will expand the app’s functionality. Users will now be able to purchase and renew their service online, which will significantly streamline the purchasing process. Users will be able to choose from several different MawisUtility service plans to best suit their needs and frequency of use. Of course, the app will also feature a responsive design, making it easy to use on various devices,” explains Vladimír Lhoták, Technical Director of HRDLIČKA (operator of the MawisUtility service).

Our updates were primarily inspired by feedback and suggestions from users, which we value highly. That is why the following features will be incorporated into the new MawisUtility service:

  • Online user registration and online service purchase
  • The ability to use the service at multiple levels, differentiated by the sophistication of the features
  • New Map Window
  • Verification of address locations
  • Retrieving data by Business ID
  • Import (upload) a polygon of the area of interest

We believe that the updates we are currently working on will enhance our customers’ experience and make the various sections of the application easier to navigate. We would also appreciate any additional suggestions or feedback regarding the MawisUtility service.
