MawisUtility saves time and money for builders, designers, developers, and network administrators. The app can identify all network administrators in a given area and request their input on a proposed construction project all at once.
The administrative burden associated with submitting requests for information on the location of utility lines has long been a challenge for builders, designers, and developers. The MawisUtility web application, operated by Hrdlička, has been providing an effective online solution for 15 years—it enables the bulk and organized submission of requests online, thereby saving time and money and eliminating errors.
The MawisUtility app makes it easy to contact all technical infrastructure operators in the area where construction is planned. Thanks to its integration with the Register of Technical Infrastructure Entities (RSTI), requests for comments are sent only to the relevant operators. A process that used to take several hours can now be completed by the user in just a few minutes—and, most importantly, with the certainty that no entity has been overlooked.
Unlike the government’s Builder Portal, which launched on July 1, 2024, as a limited version lacking key application functionality, MawisUtility is a fully functional and stable tool that has been supporting the digitization of public administration for more than 15 years.
“It’s great that it’s no longer an open secret, but a public fact, that the Builder’s Portal isn’t working as originally planned. Our MawisUtility app, on the other hand, does work, and what’s more, it is one of the few fully digital and verified construction management tools,” commented Jan Floriánek, CEO of Hrdlička, last summer on the crisis at the Ministry of Regional Development.
Thanks to its wide range of applications and user-friendly interface, MawisUtility has become the standard for digital communication between builders and property managers. Many organizations now consider it an indispensable tool in their daily work.
In 2024 alone, nearly 500,000 applications were submitted through MawisUtility.
A total of 8 regions have made this service available to their residents as a Public Application Submission Portal, thereby contributing to higher-quality and more transparent building permit procedures.
The Benefits of the Service: Why Should I Use MawisUtility?
What does the future hold for the digitization of construction management?
The MawisUtility app is linked to the Citizen Portal as a regional service for the Plzeň Region and the Vysočina Region. Its value is undeniable in the current phase of digitization, and until the national solution is fully functional, it remains an indispensable tool for every builder.
For more than 17 years, a digital tool has been available that makes it significantly easier for builders and designers to submit requests for information regarding the location of utility lines.
In the MawisGeoportal environment, you can track the status of all requests submitted by an applicant in the MawisUtility application (this information is transferred automatically).
