Hrdlička and the Digital Technical Map of the Czech Republic

Services for owners and managers of transportation and technical infrastructure.

Services for owners and managers of transportation and technical infrastructure.

Owners, managers, and operators of transportation and technical infrastructure are required to publish documentation of their networks in the regional DTM information system using the new JVF DTM data format.

We have created the website www.dtmcr.cz to address the issue of DTM in the Czech Republic. The site contains a list of services that Hrdlička offers to assist municipalities and technical infrastructure managers.

We hold online seminars twice a month; you can register for them on the DTMČR website mentioned above.

The Digital Technical Maps project requires municipalities and transport and technical infrastructure managers to share infrastructure data with the IS DMVS (Public Administration Digital Map Information System), which is being developed by the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre (Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre).

Obligations of municipalities and administrators:

  • register in the IS DMVS verification registry based on a request from the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre (ČÚZK) sent to data boxes;
  • conduct an inventory of all its documentation (regarding the transportation and technical infrastructure assets it owns);
  • digitize non-digital documentation and add any missing elements;
  • convert the documentation into the DTM standard exchange format;
  • upload the documentation to the DMVS information system;
  • update the documentation immediately whenever a change occurs.

Hrdlička offers the following services:

  • Audit of Readiness for the DTM Joint Military Exercise;
  • Preparation of documentation for sharing with the Czech Topographic Institute;
  • Creating a simplified inventory of parts that have not yet been documented;
  • Outsourcing the role of DTM Data Editor.

‍Municipalities or administrators can also use DTM data to manage their assets using the MawisGeoportál system.
