Changes to the MAWIS Application Process – What to Expect and How to Prepare

We are preparing to switch to a new login method. You will now use your email address. Find out what this means for your account.

We are preparing to transition to a new account identity management system, which will provide better security for your data and allow users to log in to all MAWIS services using a single set of credentials.

What will change?

Instead of your current username, you will now be required to enter your email address to log in.

What needs to be done now?

Please check the email address associated with your account. If it is not up to date, please correct it as soon as possible in the Account Details section.

A valid email address is essential—the password reset code will be sent to it.
If the email address is invalid, you won’t be able to reset your password or regain access to your account.

We will notify you in advance of the exact date of the transition to the new login system.
