Changes to MAWIS Services Effective January 1, 2026
With the new year come several changes to MAWIS’s services. Below is an overview of the most important ones.
1. Termination of the provision of ÚAP data
As of January 1, 2026, we no longer provide the spatial planning data that we previously compiled and published on behalf of certain entities (e.g., Vltava River Basin Authority, ČEPS, Beroun Water and Sewerage, Strakonice Heating Plant, Písek Heating Plant, and Energie Holding).
This data is now available:
- as part of the DTM ČR, or
- directly from the individual data owners.
2. New service name: Automated Contract Creation
The service formerly known as "Easement Agreement Creation" is now available under a new, more descriptive name:

The service remains fully functional. The new name better reflects its automated nature when creating various types of contracts.
3. Transfer of DSPS to JVF DTM
The "Conversion from DSPS to JVF DTM" service has been added to the DTM ČR section.

This change makes it easier to navigate and logically links the service to the Digital Technical Maps product.
4. Changes to Access to Information on Parcel Owners
As of December 30, 2025, the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre (ČÚZK) has revised the procedure for providing access to information about parcel owners.
This change is also important for users of MAWIS services, which contain information about parcels and allow users to click directly through to the Land Registry Viewer application.
The new rule is that:
- Information about the parcel owner will be displayed on the ČÚZK portal only after the user logs in,
- Without logging in, only basic (limited) information about the property is available.
Therefore, if the owner’s information does not appear after you click the link, this is not a MAWIS service error, but rather a security change on the part of ČÚZK related to personal data protection.
