waste collection points

Would you like to know where the trash containers are located in your city and keep track of when they’re emptied?

Please contact us, and we will prepare a comprehensive inventory of your waste collection sites.

The Waste Collection Site Directory is a comprehensive record of the locations of waste collection sites equipped with recycling bins, along with information on their collection schedules.

Legislation: The preparation of a waste site inventory is generally required by the Municipalities Act (Act No. 128/2000 Coll.), the Building Act (Act No. 183/2006 Coll.), and the Accounting Act.

What is the purpose of a waste collection site directory?

  • Planning maintenance for existing collection sites and, if necessary, renovating or constructing new sites
  • The publication of the inventory of waste collection sites will raise public awareness and provide citizens with more information about these sites
  • It serves as the basis for grants to improve waste management
  • Optimizing waste collection can reduce the amount of litter and thus improve the overall cleanliness and appearance of the community
  • Integration with digital GIS systems and other administrative areas
  • What information is recorded in the waste site registry?

  • Map of Waste Collection Sites
  • Information on collection sites, containers, types of waste, characteristics of collection sites, and collection frequency
  • Photo documentation
  • Additional important information
  • How will we proceed with creating a waste site inventory?

  • We will use surveying techniques to determine the locations of waste collection sites in your municipality
  • For a given waste collection site, we determine the necessary attributes, such as the type of collection site, the type of containers (capacity, number of containers), the type of waste collected at the site, the characteristics of the collection site, and information about waste collection
  • We will then take photographs of each of these waste collection sites
  • We will then process all the collected data and prepare a final inventory of waste sites
  •  What do we need from you?

  • Identify the locations of collection points
  • Approval of the completed passport
  • The final output is submitted in the following format:

  • SHP map output (GIS format)
  • Tables (XLS, PDF)
  • Waste Site Inventory in the MawisGeoportal App

  • Display of waste disposal sites and their characteristics
  • Photos
  • Option to filter items based on selected criteria and export to XLSX, SHP, or print
  • Maintenance and Container Removal Scheduling
  • Sharing data with colleagues or the public
  • I can help you with your property inventories
