I\u2019m not going to claim that I walk around Prague every day with a map in my hand, or that surveyors run around the field with printed maps.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But \u201cprinted\u201d maps aren\u2019t going away just yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s true that you rarely come across a real printed map these days. That\u2019s why I put it in quotes.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Printed maps\u2014that is, map sections in the form of a sheet of paper\u2014are still needed in projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For example, when you need to include a map with your project documentation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this purpose,<\/strong> the geoportal includes a Map Export<\/strong> module that allows you to:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Choose the right size and scale for the map:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. A box or a full page? Decide based on the map\u2019s purpose:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Add important information to the map:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.
